VINEYARDS
Exceptional vineyards distinguish Green Valley, including such gems as Dutton’s Jewell Vineyard, Iron Horse’s Thomas Road, Dutton-Rued Vineyard, Martinelli’s Bondi Home Ranch, Dutton-Sanchietti, Hartford Court’s Arrendell Vineyard, Marimar Estates’ Don Miguel Vineyard, DeLoach Vineyards, Emeritus Vineyards, Orogeny and The Rubin Family of Wines.
There are over 100 growers in the appellation. The AVA comprises a total of 19,000 acres, mostly planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for both still and sparkling wines, plus some exceptional cool-climate Syrah and Zinfandel.
